Our goal is to provide high quality products for all your wood heat needs. We will eventually carry a full line of wood stoves, from small ice-shack heaters to outdoor wood furnaces.Outdoor Wood FurnacesThe Empyre and Cozeburn outdoor wood furnaces are the most well engineered and well built furnaces I've seen. The firebox has a corrugated baffle design on the top with a large dip at the back. You can see that in the picture below. These features keep the heat in the firebox, increasing efficiency. Filling the furnace is easier, since the door is at waist height. And dumping the ashes is really easy. Just pull the ash pan out and tip it. You don't have to shovel, which saves you time every day. The water temperature is controlled electronically. There is also a low water indicator and safety shut-off, if the water level drops too far. All of the steel is laser cut, so the assembly is solid and the welds do not have to bridge any gaps. There are 2 grades of stainless steel to choose from. I am testing both grades for corrosion resistance with a vinegar/ash acid test. Grade 304 stainless steel is the highest grade available in an outdoor furnace. It is performing very well with no . Grade 409 stainless steel does show some surface rust under . There is some data on the different types of steel at www.azom.com. Grade 304 has the most resistance to corrosion and responds the best to welding. The furnaces are manufactured by Pro-Fab Industries, a Canadian company based in Manitoba. The Empyre and Cozeburn furnaces are ahead of the market in features, like the digital control panel. The panel features temperature control, water level warning and low water shut-down. If a leak does occur the stove will shut itself down automatically, protecting your investment. We are based near Canora Saskatchewan and we will deliver within a 4 hour radius. We are trying to arrange all deliveries during the second half of September, this will save you money on shipping costs. We also serve Northern Saskatchewan and Manitoba. We regularly travel to Prince Albert, as well as Swan River, The Pas, Flin Flon.. Give us a call if you're interested.
