The July long weekend was awesome.  From a pancake breakfast to an incredible fireworks display.  There was also a great parade and sand castle building contest. We also have a bouncer that we try and bring out on weekends.  The kids love it.  It's also available for rent.

There are a lot of fun things to do in the winter.  If you like sledding this area was rated the number one family destination in Sno-Riders West.  We are near Route 66, with links to 1000's of miles of sledding trails.  If you like cross country skiing there is a beautiful trail that winds it's way through a protected nature reserve and the sand dunes.

During the summer enjoy our amazing beaches, sand dunes and park.  And we usually plan a lot of fun things to do for kids.

The dunes...

An amazing feature of the area are the beautiful sand dunes.  A day hike through the dunes provides a day of discovery and diversity.  You can scale the high peaks of pure white sand or explore the valleys.  Deer, fox and coyote are abundant in the area and are seen on a regular basis.

This is a great opportunity to explore nature with your kids.  Spend some time swimming and then take off for a hike.  Have a picnic on the dunes, with Good Spirit Lake stretched out before you.  You'll love it.
